Pierre Bricault | | | | | | | In progress | FEBIAD test with cathode biased | Yesterday Ray Dube has changed the configuration in order to run the FEBIAD with the cathode on negative bias.
There were a short between the gas line and the common. The box has been opened and the short removed.
This morning I am turning on the cathode heater to 290 A. |

Anders Mjos | | | | | | | Problems/Solutions | Roughing blows the fuse for both roughing pumps. | The fuse for both roughing pumps blows when roughing the chamber. With the help from Edi: disconnect the exhaust port on the roughing pump for the first few hundred torrs of roughing. Reconnect and continue.
Seems the roughing pump RP1 pushes air towards the exhaust of RP2 which blows the fuse |

Aurelia Laxdal | | | | | | | In progress | Xantrex PS 10-600 for TSH:TGHT is not working | When turned ON it was not going higher than 3.6A (EPICS/front panel). Kazuya checked the connections at the back and also the EPICS/PLC/PS input/output signals. He compared these values with the similar once of the TSH:TBHT PS (which is also a Xantrex PS 10-600). E-Fault 6275
It turned out to be the connections on the top of the ion source box: the target heater was not connected and the power supply was not seeing the load. Tomorrow we'll check all the top connections, with the corresponding power supplies. |

Edi will replace TMSRP2 again as it became noisy since yesterday morning. Vacuum should not be affected by the work. |
