 TM#2 with UC#34 has been moved from ITW to the north hot cell had the target removed and then moved to the south west silo.

 TM#2 with C#3 has been moved from the north hot cell to ITW. Also for the up coming site wide power outage, the ISAC Target Hall crane has been turned off and powered down, also the remote crane console has also been power down as well so that mean no ISAC TV for a few days.

 TM#2 moved from ITE to NHC SiC#41 removed and then moved back to ITE.

The second module lifting assembly ITA0490 is moved into TH and installed onto TM3 . It will stay with TM3. I adjusted the  CofG on the assembly. It is same to the first lifting assembly we are using now. After adjustment, The installation of assembly on TM3 are smooth.

Yesterday and today module conditioning was done on Tm4 in ITE. This is the first ramp up after the shutdown and ITE is planned to run at high voltages for the first weeks. The module is behaving well - went up to 40kV yesterday, stayed there for an hour, and up to 46kV today. Current draw is 113uA at 46kV. No serious sparking.

 

Tuesday, May 23, 2023, 09:32 :  Ramping up again, easy to 45kV. Drawing 132uA at 49kV. Still behaving quite well.

Conditioned TM2 up to 48kV in ITW. Some sparks and current is not very stable. Drawing about 178uA at 48kV.

TM1 was moved from SHC to the TCS. The mode took roughly 1 hour. During the move the north east corner of the containment box caught slightly on the flange of the vacuum vessel and then slipped off. The contact was minimal but should none the less be noted. After sliding off of the flange the module did not crash into the other sides of the vacuum vessel, this is why I believe the contact was minimal. It should be noted that the corner of concern is the one that is most difficult to see.

 Today David and I moved the module from ITE to the SHC. Move went very smoothly, David operated the cameras and has had basic training in how to manually lock out the controls.

 TM4 with NiO#1 was moved from ITE to the SHC today. The move went well with no issues.

TM4 was remote moved from the SCH to the TCS today. This was the first time the module was moved with the framework for the cage in place. The ion gauge on the service cap is closer to the cage than anticipated and as a result the pins for the gauge were sheared off. Discussion as to how to repair the gauge (both short term and long term needs to be had). We will try and rough down the TM tonight, it is not believed the vacuum will be affected.

 TM4 with CS Test Target #1 was moved from the SHC to the Conditioning Station. All went well. The welding cables came a little close to the cage, David will bend them in more in the future.

 TM4 with a new target was moved back from NHC to ITE and reconnected at pit. The 5 shielding blocks were installed as well. Copies of connection checklist are attached here.
