TM#4 with Ta#50 has been moved to the east target station.

On Tuesday, January 24th UCx#18 was removed from TM2 and Ta febiad dummy installed. I encountered the same issue mounting the new target as last time. Was able to determine that the issue is the routing of the waterlines to the right-hand (as viewed from the operator) high current tube heater. The lines interfer the the target mounting plate (bottom right hand corner).

 Targeta Ta#49 and Ta#52 have been repackaged anf moved to the mini vault. Ta#49 was taken out of pail number 146 and placed into pail 229. Ta#52 was taken out of pail number 152 and placed into pail 230.

TM#2 with Ta#49 has had its electrical check and was moved to the conditioning station. see the attached pdf for the electrical check details.

Conditioning by ISAC operations. Water flow tripped power supplies after a few hours of conditioning at 580 / 230 A and 30 kV. See operations e-log for details.

TM#2 with Ta#49 has been moved to the west target station from the conditioning station.

TM#2 with Ta#49 has been moved from the west target station to the south hot cell.

Ta#49 has been removed from the south hot cell and placed in the storage vault. It is in pail 146 and in spot 6A.

During target removal on Wednesday October 12th, the left target heater conductor bolt (ITD0058) could not be removed. The bolt was found to be stuck in the threads (keensert) of the TGHT conductor block (ITA0583). In the process of attempting to remove the bolt, the conductor insulator (ITD0054) cracked (ref assy ITD0052). To allow increased torque to be applied and support the conductor block, a clamping jig (ITD0612) was designed and fabricated. The jig was assembled and it's function tested on the ISAC Test Stand on Friday 14th. On Monday 17th the bolt could be removed using the clamping jig and a socket wrench with an extended handle.

The threads on the removed bolt was damaged. A new set of bolts were therefore prepared and a tap was run through the keensert to restore the threads. The threads in the conductor block was tested and found to be OK using a new bolt.

The spent target could now be removed. Unfortunately the right manipulator failed during installation of a new conductor insulator, which forced the repair of the insulator and installation of the new target (SiC#35) to be postponed until the manipulator can be repaired.

 Targets Ta#48,51,54 SiC#35, and UC#25 were repacked and placed in the mini vault. In the following order back to front. SiC#35 (240), Ta#54(241), UC#25(244), Ta#48(243), Ta#51(242).

Also during this repacking Ta#60 was also placed in the Spent Target Vault in spot 7B in pail# 239.

Electrical check done on TM#2 with Ta#48, no target and SiC#33 the short on the coils to 60kV is still present it is on the R-U coil line. See attached PDFs for details.

Ta#48 has been installed onto TM2. Also new window gaskets were installed.

High current fasteners were torqued to 130 in lbs. Shutter side of the containment box recieved new fasteners.

Disconnected  TM2 at TCS(vacuum system still on). Purged all TM2 water lines for helium pressure test.

LD base LR: 0.0 X E-9. Base pressure:0.0 X E-4. 70 psi helium. 5 minutes each circuit.

The bigger leak found on MSP before was gone. Leak rate are smaller on all circuits  comparing to before. 

The leak rate on 1 hour total lines test at 70 psi is better also which is 6.6 XE-8 atm.cc/sec this time. 

The TCS and TM2 are still under vacuum without venting

TM#2 with Ta#48 has been moved from conditioning station to the west target station.

TM2 has been connected in ITW by Dan.M and David.W. All turbo-pumps have been started. Everything is good so fine.
