On March 7,2019 the Thermocouple (TC) cable which monitors the temperature of the 1AQ14 B/L vacuum joint was broken when the iron shield block (Triumf Dwg D-3237 aka M8 Tongue block) was restored on the east of the T2 Monolyth. See attached photos. This TC (Omega #KTSS-116U-144) is attached to the 1AQ14 Indium ring seal (Triumf Ref Dwg TBP0372D) and should be replaced the next time this B/L joint is serviced. The Controls Group has noted on the CCSC2, XTPAGE 17, that TW# B1-375 is broken.

  120   Thursday, April 25, 2019, 11:13 Keith C NgM20RepairM20 Q2 repair notes

See attached scan for repair notes regarding M20 Q2 during the 2019 winter shutdown. The repair method for M20 Q2 was instigated by Doug Preddy and Beamlines group. Cooling line was blanked off during the 2019 winter shutdown in order to keep the M20 beamline running without removing the magnet and doing a complete repair on the leaking coil.

  125   Friday, March 06, 2020, 13:36 Keith C NgM9RepairM9 B1 moved to warm cell

The M9 B1 was removed from the M9 channel surveyed and moved to the remote handling warm cell for refurbishment.

The warm cell is currently locked. Remote Handling should be contacted if access is needed to B1.

A field map of B1 is attached as a pdf file.

  117   Tuesday, March 27, 2018, 15:08 Keith C NgM9Standard Operationt2 m9 port blank off

1. Blank off installed 11:40 with Dan McDonald, east spring ear looks 'deeper" than west.

- Reused all hardware from last install, most active hardware was around 10 mSv/h on contact

- Zero point was at the 1/2 turn marker pen mark

- Installed at 1.5 turns from "finger tight" zero.

2. Spring eye zero set on a spare flange with spare pins.

- backed off 1/2 turn then mounted to exit port.

- tightened .5 turn to get to zero, then 1.5 turns on east and west sides to seal, in increments of .5 turns alternating.

3. Called Edi to start pumping on T2 at 12:50

122   Tuesday, September 24, 2019, 14:37 Keith C NgPrimary BeamlinesStandard Operationlead pig radiation survey

Surveyed contents of storage flask located at TNF. The lid was lifted off roughly 12" up and a pole monitor was swept over the opening. The fields of the combined items in the flask were 9.84 mSv/h at 12-24". Extrapolated, the field is approximately 3.7 mSv/h at 1/2 m.

The flask contains an indium blank off plate, ISAC beam window and some miscellaneous used water fittings. The ISAC window is probably the largest contributor to the field.

A list of the contents and the dates the were placed into the flask are attached to the top of the flask lid.

  130   Friday, May 06, 2022, 11:27 Keith C NgPrimary BeamlinesStandard Operation4V CM1 RH joint install

 2022 Apr 28 to 29:

Installed a new remote handling 4" indium joint for new beamline 4 north section. Issues were encountered in clearance between the downstream steering magnet and the compression collar of the joint. Joint installation itself went smoothly.

The drive screw is a 17mm hex instead of a 5/8". This was noted in the install of the blank off plate in 2016.

See attached pdf report for photos and more description.
