Source ran nicely overnight. ICR team set up a tune into the Polarizer line. Experiment setup is scheduled to start tomorrow morning. |

Beam was used yesterday. Mostly idle overnight. Looks like a plasma mode change happened at around 19:00 yesterday. It happens. Or perhaps just an artifact
again. Shortly after, beam was moved to 87Rb, which is where it is right now. Once again, another milestone first at OLIS: 87Rb from the MWS.

The 85/87Rb run from the MWS ended last evening as scheduled. The Supernanogan source was brought online (~21:30 Sunday?) and a 12C2+ beam established,
first for ICR training then for DRAGON setup. |

A good 12C2+ beam was established yesterday from the Supernanogan source, driven by background pressure only; no source gas actively injected. Beam intensity
was not sufficient, so we switched to the MWS. 12C2+ from the MWS sat on FC6 for the night, and grew over the time. Plan today: increase the intensity
one way or another. |

12C2+ beam established yesterday from the Supernanogan. Tuning to DRAGON began last evening and is continuing presently.
We noticed that MCOL0 no longer has a valid reading. A quick trar suggests it stopped reading at around 17:00 yesterday, right around the beam
hand-off time. Also, after working fine since Controls adjusted it a couple of weeks back, the MCIS:RFS water flow meter began toggling its state again |

We are back to running a Rb beam using the MWS. The run started last Thursday, November 18th. The previous Rb run ended on Monday, November 8th, at which
point a 12C2+ beam was established, using both sources; the Supernanogan was selected for final delivery to DRAGON. Users reported excellent beam. That
run ended last Monday, November 15th, after |

Last day of 85Rb delivery. Save: 101124_1400_snapiostitan. Next up: 12C2+ for SEBT commissioning. We took a few minutes earlier
to see if this is available with the source as-is. No such luck. Plan is to shut off mid-afternoon, and prepare to switch over to 12C2+ operation from
the MWS. |

Some start-up teething pains last night. Decision: Go with the Supernanogan for now. ~20enA on FC6. Save: 101125_1148.snapiosdragon. Also, a CANBUS card
on IOS:YCB1A failed this morning and was replaced by Controls. |

Supernanogan is online. MCIS:TP3 is off. It should be on. It is required for best production of higher charge states. |

Accelerator development continues. Save: 101201_2157.snaiosvault. Today's agenda: emittance scans. Attached: overnight beam plus a preliminary horizontal
emittance scan 101202_0951ILTEMIT.txt.
Later... First good scan 101202_1016ILTEMIT.txt. |

Last moments of beam development for SEBT commissioning. Attached is an FC6 plot and the present optics and 1mm slits. Decision was to not do a vertical
emittance scan at this time, but proceed with 15Kr development, up next. Before we shut off, one last emittance scan coming up.
Later... Emittance scan with 2.5mm slits (default position setting used) in progress... Done. 101203_1017ILTEMIT.txt. |

The previous 12C2+ development run from the Supernanogan ended Friday morning. Starting Friday afternoon, the Supernanogan was prepared for an upcoming
SEBT development using krypton beams. The source was ready overnight.
There were some teething pains over the weekend. An A/q=5.71 beam is sitting on FC6 presently. The beam schedule shows an experiment change on Thursday |

Development should continue today. Looks like Supernanogan went through a plasma mode change overnight and settled into a new mode. |

Development continues in the search for gold. A=197 Present A/q=5.94, which suggests 197Au+33. It could also be a tail of 12C+2. We'll see. |

Development and the quest for gold continue.
Later... Mass scans in region of 197Au33 A/q=5.97, with graph of all theoretically possible charge states in the same A/q region. The thing to
note in that last graph is how clean is the region (just left of A/q=6) where 197Au33 is predicted. |
