Tuesday, November 28, 2023, 14:34  HV test started. Sparks on the TC seen at BIAS/EE/EZL 31/-1.8/15kV. TC values recovered after sparks, TP6 tripped during sparks as well. Venting chamber to reposition TC.

Wednesday, November 29, 2023, 10:51 Roughing started earlier in the morning. IG1 at 1e-5 T. Ramping up bias.

Wednesday, November 29, 2023, 13:22 The ballast of TMSRP2 was opened to attempt to improve the roughing in the beam line section. Things appear to be somehow better now, TMSTP6 and TMSTP2 are on now.

Thursday, November 30, 2023, 12:12 Mass scans started earlier in the morning. 1st scan completed at 0.1A/s, repeating it again now with 0.05A/s.

Thursday, November 30, 2023, 15:04 HV tests again up to 55kV. 2 sparks inside the vacuum, to be checked if they affected TC measurement with the pi. Gauge still sparks in the upper HV cage.

Friday, December 01, 2023, 12:05.  Error saving mass scan data Thursday. Repeating mass scans at 0.02,0.01,0.005 scan speeds. note* must delete old data prior to saving. -> save procedure: Delete Old Data, Right click plot, save as plot.txt, click Clean, Show/Save Data, enter file name and save. Filenames: 2023-12-01-*

Tuesday, December 05, 2023, 14:12 HV tests restarted, TC wire brought closer to the ground wall. IG1 at 2.3e-6 T. Ramping up HV.

Wednesday, December 06, 2023, 13:48 Both yesterday and today the TC wire was not close enough to spark even at 60kV. Venting the chamber one more time to bring the TC closer. 

Thursday, December 07, 2023, 10:18 Vacuum at 5e-7T we see sparks at about 47kV. Lost control of epics during sparks, PS shut off manually. Everything recovered after.

Thursday, December 07, 2023, 13:32 After spark tests at ~55kV, Pi seems not to be affected by the sparks. Tests without the power surge components yielded similar results. We discovered that the sparks on the TC are partially diverted by spark gaps and probably other elements in the top HV cage.
