TM#3 has been moved from the north east silo to the conditioning station.

 The locations (ports) for the RGA and CG1S was swapped today by Anders and Isaac to provide clearance for the North Hot Cell ventilation. Attached photos show old and new locations.

TM#4 with UC#17 is now in the east target station.

I stopped TCS water pumps this morning . The argon venting for TCS is in processing.

The wave guide from TM3 has been surveyed, swiped and removed from the anteroom and transported to rad waste for disposal. The wave guide has been stored in the anteroom since its removal.

A hole was drilled in the NHC exhaust duct in the east end of the target hall above the hatch to the Ante Room.  This will be used for measuring NHC exhaust flow rate with a thermal anemometer.  The hole was tapped and plugged with an NPT tap.

Flow was measured in the existing hole in the SHC exhaust duct in approximately the same location.  Flow velocity was measured to be 1415 ft/min with the lid on the SHC.  Using duct ID 7.75", and assuming the average flow velocity is 90% of the flow at duct center, the flow rate was found to be 417cfm.  We will attempt to match this figure for the NHC when the ventilation tests are performed.  The tests have been scheduled for the maintenance day on Tuesday August 9th.

The anemometer probe and SHC test port plug were checked for contamination: none found.

Some items have been removed from the anteroom in preparation for painting. Items have been placed on plastic in the south hot cell service area. No contamination found so far.

The spent UC #16 have been moved from the south hot cell to the storage vault see attached PDF for details.

I started TCS water system and installed HV cover onto TM4.  The TM4 containment box is supplied with water also. TM4 is ready for conditioning at TCS.

Helium pressure test on TM4 HS line at TCS  is done.Leak detector 0.0X E-9atm.cc/sec.  5minutes, 70psi helium.    No response on LD.

East manipulator on the south hot cell is showing signs of eminent wrist/tong cable failure. Some slight slippage was noted yesterday and confirmed by a snapping sound and more slippage tomorrow.

TM#4 with UC#17 is now in the conditioning station.

UCx#16 has been removed from TM$ and UCx#17 installed, high current conductors toqued to 130 in lbs.

UCx#16 did not show the standard arcing marks on the 9 pin connector.

In regards to the 9 pin connector on number 17, it was by far the best fitting TM4 target with 9 pin as it required no "fiddling" during installation.

TM#4 with UC#16 has been moved from the east station to the south hot cell. The shield plug was also install remotely once it was hooked up due to alphas.

 The North Hot Cell was accessed today via the Ante Room for inspection, measurements, and clean-up.  There were no modules in the SHC or TCS, and no spent targets in the SHC.  Under these conditions the maximum field in the NHC was approximately 2μSv/hr.  The inside of the cell was cleaned and swept, followed by a floor swipe to check for contamination (none found).  All areas of the ante room floor were also swiped:  no contamination found.

The following measurements were taken in the NHC for comparison with the Soldiworks model:

SHC/NHC feedthrough panel fastener size:  1/4"-20,  1/2" long

TM#3 with no target has been moved from the conditioning station to the NE silo.
