|
July-06, 2015. Chad , Grant and I did the bubble test on R,U water blocks. We suspected the leak on the R,U circuit is from C seals on the water blocks
so we did this test first. I applied both air and helium to R,U circuit , Chad applied snoop soap on the R,U water blocks. The air and helium pressure was
increased from 40 psi to 90 psi Max step by step.Chad did not see any bubbles on the water blocks during the test. Since we did not find the leak source, |

|
I did a TM2 no target electrical check at SHC this morning. A to RU at 500v is 250K which is low. anode- x pin is dead short to 60kv
bias. RU is dead short to 60kv bias( as before). see attachment |
Friday, December 06, 2013, 15:09, Bevan Moss, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM2, , TM2 no source tray 55kV 1 hour
|
Today 55kV was applied to TM2 and held for over 1 hour with the EINZEL at 27.5kV. There were 2 sparks and the current was unstable at this voltage but
this test should be considered a success. Once again while bringing the voltage up the canbus continued to be a problem. After successfully passing the
test I continued to raise the BIAS and EINZEL. A spark at 57kV tripped a controller for the vacuum and the canbus. As stated before I believe the module |

Helium pressure test on TM2 all water circuits is done. 70 psi helium , 10 minutes test time. Leak detector :base leak rate 0.0XE-9 atm.cc/sec, base
pressure 0.0Xe-4torr. No any response on LD during the test. All TM2 water circuit are leak free. |

TM2 new source tray has been remotely transferred into SHC successfully. The transfer table has been moved back to TH within 1 hour. I swiped the
table and found about 150counts contamination. It is much better comparing to last time using since we removed this table out of SHC as quick as we can.
The table will be cleaned with windex after Target Hall is surveyed. |

TM2 was moved by myself and David from the SHC to the TCS. Move went well. Curiously the fields on the module were measured higher than the previous
measurement (now ~5.8mSv/hour) . |

TM2 was moved from ITE to SHC with Ta#68 target. During the move, a railing was lightly bumped by the corner of the module - no obvious damage or issues
have been observed. Otherwise, the move was smooth. |
Wednesday, November 13, 2013, 10:01, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Repair, TM2, , TM2 leak check at conditioning station
|
I leak checked TM2 at conditioning station this morning. All air to vacuum seals on the top of the module are good. All water lines are pressured with
60 psi helium for minutes each. One of the tube heater + water line( 2lines for tube heater + for supply and return) has a huge response on 60 psi helium
pressurizing. The leak rate went from 6.0xE-9atm.cc/sec to maximum leak rate in 5 seconds and I saw a pressure increasing either. when I pressurize the |

The following water circuits in TM2 are connected at TCS and running with water now : target oven+ - ( one circuit), tube heater+ -( one circuit),
coil1 and 2(one circuit), MSP, and EE. The HS and window are open circuits now so they can not be supplied with water. During the check before
we knew HS and window circuit were close to perfectly sealed. So, The test result should not be affected without them |

Anders and I finished the most part of TM2 water lines helium pressure test yesterday.I list the system parameters and test result as below:
TCS IG1: 9.8XE-8 torr, TCS IG2: 9.6Xe-7 torr, TCS IG1S: 3.5XE-9 torr, TCS CG1A: 10 m torr
Helium pressure: 70 psi. Test time: 5 minutes for each individual circuit. 1 hour for all lines together test. |
