Ta tube was coated with TaC and wrapped with Ta heat-shields (3 layers)

Desired temperature= 1900 C (expected TGHT ~430 A), TBHT will be set fixed at 230A (max).

Evap 2 was pumped down

Good vacuum= 3.00 e-5 Torr

Bad vacuum = 5.00 e-5 Torr

Ramped TGHT and TBHT to 40A at 0.5A/min

Initial IGP1 = 2.5e-7 Torr

Autoramp deliver 40 A

TGHT = 0.58 V, 39.6 A

TBHT = 0.46 V, 39.81 A

IGP1 = 2.9 e-7 Torr and increasing

Heater conditions will be hold for 15 min to account for pressure changes.

Autoramp TGHT and TBHT at 1A/min to 400A and 230A respectively.

After 15 min the autoramp stopped

TGHT = 6.8 V, 394.65 A

TBHT =4 V, 232.9 A

IGP1 = 2.2e-6 Torr and going down

Omega = 1747 degC

Autoramp set to TGHT 1A/min to 450A

After 15 min the autoramp stopped

TGHT = 7.7 V, 448 A

IGP1 = 2.88e-6 Torr

Omega = 1886 degC

The current will be increased manually to reach 1900 deg C

Final TGHT = 7.9 V, 453.15 A (455 A input)

Omega = 1899 degC

The TGHT and TBHT will leave at current conditions until pressure reduce (approx 4 hours)

IGP1 = 1.8e-6 Torr

Omega = 1893 degC

Initiating auto-cool at -2.0A/min and -1.0A/min for the TGHT and TBHT respectively.
