A previously coated tantalum tube with 3 layers of shielding (Details in e-log 426) was loaded with a graphite insert. 

The tube was loaded in evaporator 2 and pumped down

The graphite insert will be heated to 2000 C for 3 weeks

Set autoramp to 350 A @ 2A/min

TGHT = 1643 C

Set autoramp to 400 A @ 2A/min

Started to tapped manually at approx 5 A every 30 s

Final TGHT => 1896 C, 8.16 V, 480.46 A

The current will stay at 480 A until temperature stabilizes. 

The current was reduced to 476 A to stay at 1900 C
