Target boat contains one pellet of carbon mesh coated with UC2.  The sample was prepared in the Ar-glove box and the container is wrapped with 2 layer of Ta foil (it wasn't easy to do the wrapping).

Chamber is currently being pumped down.

TGHT will be heated up to 600A.

Chamber has been pumped down overnight, vac @ 6.7e-6 Torr.

TGHT was heated up to 600A and stayed for 12hrs before cooled down (see attachment).

EDX/SEM/XRD will be done soon...
